Eileen Malvey, CPIA

Ms Malvey joined James A. Connors Associates, Inc. in 2018 as assistant commercial lines manager. Responsibilities include complete servicing of a commercial lines book of business consisting of middle market, and large commercial accounts as well as marketing of new business, renewal marketing, policy checking & transmittal, and day to day correspondence with both clients and underwriters. Ms. Malvey holds the designation of certified professional insurance agent (CPIA) and brings more than thirty years of experience in the insurance sales and service industry to the James A. Connors Associates team.

Prior to joining James A. Connors Associates Ms. Malvey served as senior account executive for Partners Insurance Agency Pellechio Smith Insurance in Florham Park, New Jersey. While there, In addition to servicing the house accounts, Ms. Malvey also worked with sales representatives to assist them with the marketing and servicing of their accounts.

From 1997 to 2014 Ms. Malvey was president/account executive for Polaris Risk Managers in West Caldwell, New Jersey. Responsibilities included, among other general insurance duties, conducting client needs assessments and designing coverage to meet those needs.

Ms. Malvey served as senior commercial account executive for Robert E. Linnett Agency in Caldwell, New Jersey working directly with agency principles and sales representatives to effectively service, enhance and retain a book of business consisting of preferred accounts including municipalities, public & private schools, and vocational schools, along with various other types of commercial business. A key responsibility was to review loss control recommendations with clients and maintain a follow-up schedule to document compliance.

Early industry experience also included working with the Fowler Agency, Inc in Florham Park, New Jersey and ALR Risk Managers, Inc. in Parsippany, New Jersey as commercial lines supervisor with duties included distributing and assigning accounts, training, policy reviews, establishing and implementing remarketing strategies and meeting with clients and/or underwriters.

Ms. Malvey began her insurance career at Burkar Associates, Inc. in Parsippany, New Jersey in 1979 as a commercial and personal lines customer service representative. While there she acquired her insurance license and the foundation for a successful career in the insurance industry.

Ms. Malvey resides in Lincoln Park, New Jersey where she loves to cook and enjoys spending time with her daughter and her two small dogs. When time allows she enjoys traveling to any country with a vineyard and the occasional trip to a tranquil island.
