Elizabeth Donaway joined James A. Connors Associates, Inc. in 2015 as a Risk Advisor. With over twenty years of experience in company and agency environments, combined with her high degree of professionalism and dedicated intensity for serving clients, Ms. Donaway is a perfect fit on the James A. Connors Associates, Inc. team.

Prior to joining James A. Connors Associates, Inc., Ms. Donaway served for ten years as a Risk Advisor and vice-president at O’Gorman & Young Inc./G.R. Murray Insurance in both their Princeton and Chatham offices. While there she developed a large client base by using her expertise to develop insurance programs to properly protect her clients’ assets. Elizabeth takes pride in going the extra mile by always being available to her clients after business hours via her work cell phone.

Ms Donaway entered the insurance industry by joining Chubb Insurance Company as part of a team assembled to test and launch the Masterpiece product for high net worth personal lines clients. She received her insurance license and entered the agency side as a personal lines manager with the KRA Insurance Agency in Springfield, New Jersey. During her ten years with KRA she learned all aspects of management and customer service as well as accounting functions and the seamless integration of merger and acquisition accounts.

Ms. Donaway then moved to Couch Braunsdorf Associates in Westfield, New Jersey, serving as a personal lines account representative responsible for new business production and account servicing. A call back to the company side of the business had her joining Atlantic Mutual Insurance Company as a personal lines underwriting representative for two states and ultimately as home office underwriting specialist.

Ms. Donaway attended Lynchburg College in Lynchburg, Virginia and holds a degree in business management from Union County College in Cranford, New Jersey.

Ms. Donaway attained the designation Certified Insurance Counselor in 2015. The designation was bestowed upon her by the Society of Insurance Counselors after successfully passing five rigorous industry examinations.

Ms. Donaway is a New Jersey native and currently resides in Chatham, New Jersey. She spends her leisure time doing volunteer work at the local farmers market and Best Friends Pet adoption service. Ms. Donaway enjoys playing golf, mentors her son who is also in the insurance industry, and enjoys spoiling her English Labrador retriever.
