James P. Genovese, Jr. joined James A. Connors Associates, Inc. in 2015 as a sales executive. Mr. Genovese has been in the insurance business since 1985 and brings a wealth of in-depth knowledge to the James A. Connors Associates, Inc. sales team.
Prior to joining James A. Connors Associates, Inc., Mr. Genovese served for twenty-three years as a risk advisor and vice-president at O’Gorman & Young Inc./G.R. Murray Insurance in the Chatham, New Jersey office. While there, Mr. Genovese developed a large and diverse client base ranging from small businesses, contractors, and various real estate entities, to large commercial and residential condominium associations, the service industry and schools.
Mr. Genovese began his insurance career at Genovese Agency in Union, New Jersey, a family-owned agency where he developed a solid career foundation by being involved in all facets of the insurance business.
Through his expertise and knowledge, Mr. Genovese focuses on researching and understanding the client’s business, exposures, loss prevention and the best risk management program available.
Mr. Genovese attended Seton Hall University in South Orange, New Jersey.
While not researching his clients’ needs, Mr. Genovese enjoys volunteering as a basketball and lacrosse coach, working out daily and spending time with his family in Warren, New Jersey.
