Ms. Festa joined James A. Connors Associates, Inc. in 2017 as a commercial lines account executive. Ms. Festa is responsible for large commercial accounts. Activities included procuring new business prospects and maintaining existing commercial accounts, working as a liaison between clients and insurance carriers. With experience in many phases of the service industry, Ms. Festa’s positive attitude, excellent planning and organizational skills, together with a dedicated work ethic, blend well with the James A. Connors Associates service team.
Prior to entering the insurance industry, Ms. Festa began her service career in the transportation industry spending fourteen years with Scandinavian Airlines System (SAS) in New York, New York as assistant to director of public relations North America. While there, Ms. Festa published a weekly in-house newsletter, wrote travel related press releases for North American newspapers and travel publications, planned and coordinated press trips and conferences, evaluated proposals from travel journalists, devised and implemented strategies for market awareness of product name and corporate identity, as well as worked closely with the passenger service departments at JFK Airport and the Swedish, Norwegian, and Danish tourist boards.
Ms. Festa’s interest in customer service led her to acquire her New Jersey State Property & Casualty Insurance Producer’s License in 2006 after attending the Professional School of Business in Millburn, New Jersey.
Ms. Festa began her insurance career in 1996 as administrative assistant with O’Gorman & Young Insurance in Chatham, New Jersey and progressed to become client service manager for Arthur J. Gallagher in Whippany, NJ.
Ms. Festa studied at Queensborough Community College and St. John’s University in Queens, New York and resides in Madison, New Jersey with her family and enjoys skiing, hiking, gardening and family time.
