
Mr. Shawah has accumulated intense experience in the insurance industry over the past five years in all lines of commercial, professional and personal insurance coverage. He joined the James A. Connors Associates, Inc. sales team in 2016.
Beginning his insurance career as an account executive with New Jersey Manufacturers Insurance in Parsippany, New Jersey, Mr. Shawah learned the fundamentals of the industry through an aggressive training program focused on the individual’s needs. After only three months of serving customer needs, Mr. Shawah was promoted to hold additional responsibility as trainer for a new policy management program. During this period he received his property/casualty and life/health licenses from American School of Business in Fairfield, New Jersey.
In 2014, Mr. Shawah joined Bogle Agency Insurance in Lyndhurst, New Jersey. His responsibilities increased to include Property & Casualty Insurance which fostered learning client-focused programs intended to develop strategies and goals while at the same time understanding and integrating corporate marketing objectives, all of which helped Mr. Shawah to successfully target new business production. He was responsible for more that 50 accounts including manufacturers, retailers and distributors of various goods.
Mr. Shawah moved to Scirocco Financial Group, in Hasbrouck Heights, New Jersey in 2015 as an account executive specializing in large accounts. He provided full recommendations and specifications leading to complete proposals for contractors, manufacturers and retailers.
His early career was spent as a real estate agent for Remax-Real Estate Solutions in Pompton Lakes, New Jersey. He also managed both construction and architect offices for Center City Partners in Paterson and Ridgewood, New Jersey. While there, he attended Seton Hall University and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications in 2010.
Mr. Shawah resides in Lincoln Park, New Jersey. He is a Yo-Dan (fourth-degree black belt Isshinryu Karate) and his social achievements include acting as assistant director of the Paterson Police Athletic League (PAL) and teaching self-defense and direct social programs to the PAL children.
