Ms. Lotter joined James A. Connors Associates, Inc. in 2004 as a customer service representative (CSR). Her knowledge of the industry, coupled with her optimistic work ethic and constructive people skills, led to her current position as commercial lines manager. In this position Sue is responsible for commercial lines marketing of middle market accounts, sales reports consolidation and bond management. Ms. Lotter is also responsible for the customer service, claims, and clerical staffs. She also manages a book of business which consists of some of the agency’s premier clientele.

Ms. Lotter began her insurance career in 1995 after studying business administration at the Community College of Morris in Randolph, New Jersey and Stockton State College in Pomona, New Jersey.

Her training as a CSR began in the bond department at The Hamilton Group in Cedar Knolls, New Jersey processing bonds and certificates of insurance. Soon thereafter she was promoted to commercial CSR where she serviced all lines of commercial insurance and assisted in the training of staff members in the use of the Applied Software System. Having decided that the insurance industry was her calling, she received her property, casualty and health license and began her career as a producer.


During her time at James A. Connors Associates, Inc. Ms. Lotter has developed and implemented a procedure manual and new business tracking system. She was also the team leader for the conversion to a state-of-the-art software system.

Ms. Lotter lives in Dingmans Ferry, PA with her family and her bulldogs. She is a published photographer and loves to travel to the National Parks.
